Privacy Policy
1. Data controller
The bi el at app and bielat.site are provided by Hüsnü Lübnan, an individual developer based in Türkiye. Contact: destek@bielat.site.
2. What we collect

What we don't collect: location, contacts, photos (the camera is used on-device only to scan an invite QR code; no image leaves your phone), advertising identifiers, device fingerprints. There are no third-party analytics, ads or trackers in the app or on this site.
3. Legal basis
We process your data to perform the service agreement between us (Turkish KVKK art. 5/2-c; GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Notification delivery relies on the permission you grant in iOS, which you can withdraw at any time in device settings or your profile.
4. What your household sees
bi el at is a shared game: members of the same household see your display name, avatar, which chores you did and when, your points, badges, grocery entries and nag gossip. That is the whole point of the app. Your email address and password are never visible to them. When you leave a household your name in past records becomes "Former member".
5. Who we share with
- Hosting: Your data lives on a rented server (VPS) at [HOSTING PROVIDER AND COUNTRY]. The provider supplies infrastructure only and does not access the data.
- Apple: Notifications are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service; Apple processes them only to deliver them.
- No other third party receives your data. We never sell or rent it.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, account data is removed immediately and backup copies within 30 days at most. Your rows in household records are anonymised ("Former member") because the household's score history belongs to the other members. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
7. Deleting your account and data
In the app go to Profile → Account → Delete my account. After confirming your password, your account and personal data are deleted; if you own a household you'll be asked to hand it over or close it first. If you can't access the app, email destek@bielat.site from the address on your account; we complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm.
8. Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 and the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object. Send requests to destek@bielat.site; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, in the EU, your local supervisory authority.
9. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS/WSS). Passwords are hashed with argon2id and never stored in plain text. Your session token is kept in the iOS Keychain on your device. Invite codes are rate-limited against guessing.
10. Children
bi el at is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. If we learn of a user under 13 we delete the account.
11. This website
bielat.site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends its IP address to Google for that request (Google Fonts privacy note).
12. Changes
If this policy changes we publish it here and notify you in the app for material changes. The effective date is at the top of the page.
